SHORT VERSION:

I am a wife, mom and pet lover (especially dogs and the beloved horse!). I believe life is a journey.. so enjoy the ride! I went to UF and there realized the power in photography..  GO GATORS!  My approach.... capturing moments in your life should be FUN and showcase the real you!. I love my job and believe I am blessed every time someone asks me to create images for them. Coffee, chocolate ice cream with cake: well, sigh, so very bad for you, are just a few of my favorite foods! I look forward to hearing from you

I believe in capturing moments for a lifetime of memories.
Wedding photography and sharing your special day is one of my specialties. My goal is to create a collection of wedding day photographs that take you back to you’re your wedding day each and every time you look at them. My approach is photojournalism with a touch of traditional portraiture, capturing everything from the smallest details of your event, from the elegant buttons on the back of your gown to those perfect shoes that you sought for months. I strive to capture the people as they are, so your wedding album looks natural, capturing smiles and tears. Twenty years from now, you can look back at your photos and feel each moment unfold as if it was yesterday.

Next to photography, I have been in love with horses since I was knee high to a grasshopper. After earning my bachelor’s in fine arts from the University of Florida, (Go Gators!) and relocating to North Carolina, I have been a card-carrying member of the Professional Photographers of North Carolina and Professional Photographers of America since 2007.
Life led me to settle here in the Sandhills in the Cameron and Sanford area, where I am also a wife and mother. My son graciously accepted being photographed regularly, coining the phrase, “Cheese Me,” when he was only three.
In my spare time, I enjoy working on photojournalism opportunities. Having earned multiple North Carolina Press Association awards with The Sanford Herald, I now shoot images for OutreachNC magazine in Southern Pines.
